Welcome! We are Exodus, a live and video dance performance crew based at Virginia Tech. Our goal is to present and spread our love for Korean pop culture to our local and global community.

We actively pursue our love and interests in both dance and K-Pop through vigorous practices in order to present an impactful stage. We host a live showcase every semester in the fall and spring and stay tuned for any studio projects we film and post along the way!

Subunits of Exodus

Subunits provide a safe space for minority groups within our club. This is to encourage connection and interaction with others within these groups. One would have to identify as part of these minority groups in order to participate in these subunits. The subunits of Exodus are:

• Exodus B - A subunit comprised of our black exodus members

  • A safe space for black members to gather and talk about shared experiences and complexities around being a black K-pop fan or a black student here on campus

• XY - A subunit comprised of Exodus members of male sex and/or gender

  • A safe space for male members to connect, interact, and find community within Exodus

• EXLA - (Exodus Latin America) A subunit comprised of our Hispanic/Latino members

  • A space where we can mix K-pop choreography with Spanish/Latin-inspired music and dance styles. For our Hispanic/Latino members to come together, connect, and represent within the club
